In 2004 the BBC’s interactive television wing, BBCi, was looking for something special for their BBC Three coverage of Glastonbury. They asked us to create a three-day audio-visual spectacle with BBC Radio 1, running alongside interviews, concert footage, and a range of reporting from Somerset. Our Glastonbury production, mixed live from the White City studios, scored record ratings for BBCi, and we got to go home and sleep in our dry London beds each night. Festival-going, done proper.
