Choreographer Cathy Marston is famed for her dramatic retelling of classic tropes through contemporary dance. For this collaboration with stellar composer Stuart MacRae, we were asked to create a projection design by the Royal Opera House that would “reflect” the classical theme of Echo & Narcissus. Projected on a half-mirror, our projection design integrated throgoughly into the narrative, rather than simply augment the production, and became one of our proudest moments with the Royal Opera House.
